CP Anand inspects new police stations in Hyderabad

Hyderabad, May 5 (UNI) Hyderabad City Police Commissioner C V Anand conducted surprise inspections of new police stations, ACP and DCP offices on Friday, following the re-organization of the city police commissionerate.
According to a police release, Anand assessed the facilities, infrastructure, operational readiness, and public amenities in the south, east, and south-east zones.

During the inspection, he visited Saidabad Police Station, ACP offices, Chandrayanagutta old Police Station, Santhosh Nagar Police Station, the newly sanctioned woman police station for south-east zone, South-east DCP office, and the buildings for the newly created Bandlaguda Police Station, Chandrayangutta Traffic Police Station, ACP traffic south-east, and ACP Chandrayangutta.

Anand also reviewed the progress of construction of new buildings and renovation of existing buildings that would house the new units.

The Police commissioner instructed the DCPs and staff officers to guide the petitioners and visitors about the new police stations and offices and changes in jurisdictions.
He emphasized the need for consistency in resolving grievances and ensuring pendencies never pile up in office functioning.
Anand urged the police officers to focus on rendering police services more effectively, saying that the reorganization of the City police Commissionerate by the state government was a step towards a futuristic vision.
The supervisory officers were also asked to prioritize the establishment of better facilities for women police personnel to stabilize the functioning.
